Building Description

Connected to Wecota Annex on the west side of campus, Waneta Hall is a three story co-ed hall that offers double rooms and houses 244 residents.

Each floor has a dayroom containing couches and cable television, offering a comfortable space for students to relax. The first floor includes a full kitchen, along with recreational amenities such as a foosball table, pool table and shuffleboard.

Waneta Hall was built in 1959 and is named after Waneta, a Yanktonais leader, who was born southwest of Frederick, South Dakota, in 1796 and gained fame for his bravery on behalf of the British in the War of 1812.
