TRIO Student Support Services

Mission

Through tutoring, mentoring, academic counseling, career exploration, cultural enrichment and community service, TRIO Student Support Services offers learning opportunities that help students overcome social, cultural, economic and academic barriers to higher education.

Who We Serve

  • First-generation college students (neither parent completed a four-year degree).
  • Students who meet income qualifications (following ).
  • Students with a disability (documentation needed).

Eligibility

Students who meet one or more of these criteria and who are U.S. citizens (or meet the residency requirements for federal student financial assistance) are eligible to apply. Students must also demonstrate academic potential and academic need.

To benefit from our services, you must complete a TRIO Student Support Services application.

After you complete an application, you'll be notified via email to set up an interview.

Academic Resources

Want to build your understanding of course material and improve your grade? Peer tutors will help you better understand course content and develop learning strategies.

We offer weekly review sessions for students enrolled in historically difficult courses. Supplemental instruction is provided for all students who want to build their understanding of course material and improve their grades.
