Please join the School of American and Global Studies for their signature America 250 event and the public launch of the newly AGS-housed Museum Studies minor. Featuring Dr. Emily Sneff, early American historian, America 250 exhibition curator, and author of When the Declaration of Independence Was News. Sneff will share the story of the German-language broadside printed in 1776 for the colonies’ roughly 100,000 German speakers—only two copies survive—as one of many stories of discovery, stewardship, and a multilingual founding.
