Public includes SDSU Faculty/Staff/Students
This workshop offers simple, practical tools for talking across different backgrounds, identities, and viewpoints. These tools can be applied in wide-ranging day-to-day settings from work to family to roommate relationships and more. Through short lessons and think‑pair‑share activities, participants will explore their own unique “lenses” for seeing the world and practice perspective‑taking to improve clarity and trust in conversations. This session connects to the Navigating Difficult Conversations workshop on November 4, but participants need not attend both. Presented by Dr. Karla Hunter, Professor in the School of Communication and Journalism.
