Hours of Operation
Public Hours
Monday-Sunday: 7 a.m.-11 p.m.
Administrative Offices
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Box Office Hours
The north box office will be open during the academic year, as well as throughout the summer during the Prairie Repertory Theatre's season.
- Monday-Friday – 1-4 p.m.
The central box office will be open one hour prior to every ticketed event.
Restricted Hours
Doors are locked and access requires a valid card access.
- Monday-Sunday morning: 6-7 a.m.
- Monday-Sunday evening: 11 p.m.-midnight
Secure
Closed: All doors are locked and access is limited to essential personnel and university police.
- All days: Midnight-6 a.m.
- Emergency or weather-related closure: Facility is considered in closed (secure status).
Public Holidays and SDSU School Closings
The Oscar may be closed (secure status) for public holidays and SDSU school closings.
Please note that we observe the following holidays and may be closed on these dates:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Presidents Day
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Native American Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving holiday
- Christmas holiday
Parking
Parking on the South Dakota State campus requires a permit Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Free parking is available for evening and weekend performances.
- Parking lots are located on the east and south side of the center Accessible parking is located on the east, west and north side of the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center.
Lost and Found
- Lost and found is located in Room 189.
Pick up Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. - Items will be held for 90 days before being donated. Wallets/purses will be held for one week before being turned over to the University Police Department.
Accessibility
- We offer assisted listening devices in all four of our spaces: Founders Recital Hall, Larson Memorial Concert Hall, Fishback Studio Theatre and the Oscar Larson Theatre. These devices include headsets and a T-coil, sometimes called a T-switch or telecoil.
- Our facility features two movable sensory pods that offer a quiet, private space for any who need it. They are equipped with fidget toys, weighted lap pads and a sound and light machine.
- We also offer American Sign Language interpretation by request.
